A local resident has discovered some potentially groundbreaking news regarding the history of Kingston.

While looking for the restroom deep in the bowels underneath Kingston's City Hall building, Blake Everdeen came upon a filing cabinet in a disused restroom with a sign on the door saying "Beware of the Limestone". Inside the bottom drawer, he found old memos that make reference to a 13th district.

Currently, Kingston has 12 districts.

Everdeen says that, while the memos do mention having 13 districts, he hasn't been able to find any information on where it is or was located or what it was called. This has led to speculation that it was once part of one or more of the current districts, but some sort of conflict led to the change.

When the Wig reached out to the city's historians, they declined to comment.

In a written, statement, City Hall said that they "unequivocally deny the existence of a 13th district" and are seeking to meet with Everdeen to verify the authenticity of these documents, which, if authentic, are the property of City Hall.

Everdeen, speaking via Zoom from an undisclosed location, stated that he is also seeking the advice of experts in the field to verify these documents.
